The phrase “Love you to the moon and back” was first thought to be said by King Frederick V of Denmark to his wife Princess Louise of Great Britain (daughter of King George II and Caroline of Ansbach) at their wedding on the 11th of December 1743. Since then this phrase has been utter around the world as a symbol of the great love a person has for another as back in the 1700's the moon was conceived as the furthers away destination.
